International exhibitions and trainings for architect
13.11.2017 For the first time SÄLZER took part with great success at the Amsterdam Security in Holland from 31.10 up to 2.11. Together with our partner "Schneebeli Metallbau" in Switzerland we will exhibit at the fair "Security 2017" in Zürich, hall 5 | stand 166 from 14.11. up to 17.11. Further training courses for architects, which are approved by the respective chambers of architects as advanced education, will took place in Bad Homburg (15.11.) and Stuttgart (16.11.). Topic of the seminar is "correct planning of doors: functional, secure, sustainable". From 29. Up to 30.11. we participate at the exhibition "UK Security 2017" in London, booth no. E57.
Successfull Marburger Security Day 2017
The "Marburg Security Day" took place again on 21.09.2017. Subject of the congress: What threats currently exist and how people, values and buildings can be protected? More than 100 interested listeners from governmental organizations, private companies, architects offices and security advisers commended the informative lectures from the renowned experts. The German Design Award identifies and presents unique design trends: a competition that advances the design-oriented scene. The German Design Council, the expert for brand and design in Germany, bestows the German Design Award. Commissioned by the highest authority to represent new developments in the German design industry. Established on the initiative of the German Bundestag (the lower house of German parliament) as a foundation in 1953, it supports the industry in all matters consistently aimed at generating an added brand value through design.
Retirement after 49 years
8.6.2017 To find and to bind highly qualified employees becomes more and more difficult. For this reason, Managing Director Walther Sälzer, is very glad, that the employees spending along time with SALZER. Today, after 49 years of service, Norbert Rhiel will enter his well-deserved retirement. On 01.08.1968 he started his training as a building locksmith at SÄLZER. After completing the apprenticeship Norbert Rhiel carried out various activities at the aluminum workshop. As an all-rounder he was versatile stated Walther Sälzer. Due to his calm and prudent manner he was reliable also in hectic times. In his retirement, Mr. Rhiel has now more time for his hobbies, football, especially the football club from Sterzhausen. He also likes music, he is active as a DJ on various occasions and festivals. At peak times Norbert Rhiel will support SALZER in part-time. Regional committee met at SÄLZER
1.6.2017 The regional committee of the chamber of industry and commerce Marburg met at SÄLZER on June 1st. The task of the regional committee is the representation of the interests of the companies in the respective region. The committee is made up of volunteer members of the region led by Peter Lather. Meetings take place 4 x per year. Current topics from economy and politics are discussed. At the present meeting, Walther Sälzer also informed about the latest developments at SÄLZER.
Training of representatives of the police from Frankfurt and Offenbach
30.5.2017 For a training about the European standard for forced entry resistance and perimeter-security we welcomed representative of the police from Frankfurt and Offenbach (department consulting) today. SALZER trainee H.M. Bechtel won weld championship
Hanna Madita Bechtel, SALZER metal handcraft trainee, has taken part at the German-wide championship “youth weld”, organised by the regional welding organisation. She has won the "electrode hand" competition. Now she is nominated for the Hessia championship on June 10th. We congratulate and will keep our fingers crossed for the next competition.
