Protection for emergency personnel in aid and military organisations
For use in crisis and war zones, SÄLZER has developed a guard house that provides protection against mortars and artillery shells. The highly secure guard house can be used in a range of different areas, such as guard houses, surveillance buildings and offices.
It has been certified up to class C5 in accordance with NATO STANAG 2280. The test unit has been tested with a 155 mm calibre artillery shell in the highest resistance class C5. The artillery shell, which weights 43.9 kg and has an explosive charge of 7 kg, is detonated 1.5 metres from the units.
The guard house is delivered either as a complete unit or in individual parts.

High security under extreme conditions
The devastating damage caused by shellfire is due to the wide, spherical dispersion of the exploding projectile. During our test on one of the German Armed Forces' buildings, the artillery shell weighing almost 44 kg exploded into over 200 individual pieces of shrapnel of various shapes and sizes. These smashed against the test units with enormous force and at an incredibly high temperature. The test units withstood the extreme loads and offer proper protection in the event of an emergency, proven with tests and certificates.
In addition to this high burst and explosion protection, the complete construction offers protection against all portable, fully automatic weapons up to and including machine guns such as AK-47s, AK-74s, Nato G3s, M16s and MG3s.
