From fabrication to the building site – fully installed and ready for use
Modular SÄLZER guard houses offer combined protection against break-ins, bullets and explosions. Specifiers have no limits when it comes to the exterior and interior design.
The individual modules are based on a self-supporting frame construction made from steel profiles. Building on this basic design, the modules are planned individually for the respective area of application and fabricated entirely at our production site. It only takes between one and seven days (after the foundations have been laid) to install the certified security guard house on the building site so that it is ready for use.
The size and features depend on the answers to questions like: How many people work in the guard house? Is a control room required? Are bathroom and/or kitchen facilities required? Will sleeping and/or storage rooms be needed? Should other functional spaces be included in the design? What kind of climate is there at the installation site?

Cost-effective international transport thanks to container construction
For easy and cost-effective transport worldwide by container, SÄLZER offers the guard houses in the standard sizes of 10, 20 and 40 feet. There are no limits on the size of a finished guard house – only the permissible road transport width can restrict this.
The floor area of each guard house can be individually enlarged on site by attaching multiple modules.
Security according international standards & individual requirements
Modular Construction
In accordance with DIN EN 1627-1630 up to RC5 (fixed lights, steel units up to RC6), glazing in accordance with DIN EN 356 up to RC4, glazing of higher quality is used in the classes RC5/RC6.
In accordance wiht DIN EN 1522-1523 up to FB7-NS, glazing kin accordance with DIN EN 1063 up up to BR4-NS.
In accordance with DIN EN 13123 up to EXR3 and accordance with customised requirements, various open range tests with different explosive charges (such as 100 kg or 500 kg charge), reflected pressure up to 880 kPa (8,8 bar), Various shock tube tests with reflected pressure up to 200 kPa (2.0 bar). Special tests regarding the requirements of the petrochemical industry with a peak pressure of 134 kPa (1.34bar) and a positive pressure duration of 2 sec., glazing composition according SALZER requirements. Classified: GSA2 (Protection Level "Very High"), ISOB (Hazard Rating "No Hazard").
The complete guard house is also certified by the US Department of State standard SD-STD-01.01 Rev G, in 5 FE and 15 FE/BR.

As many standard options as necessary, with as much individuality as possible
External façade
Any of the options for conventional façade cladding can be used on the exterior, be it aluminium cassette panels, aluminium composite panels or boarding with natural stone, stainless steel or timber. All of the building units are certified in each of the resistance classes.
Windows | doors
The full SÄLZER portfolio is available for installation, from fixed lights with transfer tray and communication equipment through to aluminium or steel sheet doors, fully glazed or with glazed section.
Roof types
Standard options include flat, saddle and hipped roofs, and a cantilevered canopy with any section length can also be integrated.
Wall cladding | flooring
A range of different wall cladding options is available, such as plasterboard panels, textile wall coverings or timber materials. With regard to flooring, you can choose from PVC, tiles, natural stone or carpet, for example.
Heating | cooling | electrics
These are planned and installed in accordance with the geographic and country-specific requirements.
Furniture
For example, work stations, shelves, cabinets and beds for guard accommodation made from a range of materials can be fabricated and installed in line with your individual specifications.
Kitchen | bathroom facilities
The kitchen can be fitted with all the necessary equipment such as an electric stove or fridge. A toilet and hand basin with a continuous flow water heater are included in the basic sanitary facilities.

Transaction window
The transaction window with transfer tray has been tested and certified up to the highest bullet resistance class of FB7-NS.
Integrated kitchen
The guard house can be fitted with a kitchen complete with electric stove, fridge, cupboards, sink and a boiler.

Before delivery, the fully installed guard house can be quality checked by our customers.
