Security doors series S6es – The elegance and variety of aluminium profile design combined with reliable forced entry resistance (up to RC 4) and bullet resistance (up to FB4) in mid-range safety classes.

Security with aluminium and generous glazing

The S6es-d series features structural elegance and a wide choice of designs in the aluminium profile construction, combined with reliable burglar resistance up to RC4 and bullet resistance up to FB4-NS*, as well as protection against explosions (with 500 kg of explosives | distance of 28 m). High proportion of glass and narrow profile face widths for secure, highly functional doors with the same attractive appearance as standard door systems. The internally and externally flush-fitted door construction features maximum ease of use and reliability.

In accordance with DIN EN 1627-1630 up to RC4, glazing in accordance with DIN 356 up to P8B.
Bullet resistance
Bullet resistance
In accordance with DIN EN 1522-1523 up to FB4-NS, glazing in accordance with DIN EN 1063 up to BR4-NS.
Blast resistance
Blast resistance
In accordance with DIN EN 13123-2 and DIN EN 13124-2 up to EXR2. Tested in accordance with customer-specific requirements, e.g. with 500 kg of explosives in 28 m. Glazing as per SÄLZER design. GSA 2 ("Very High" protection level), ISO B ("No Hazard" hazard rating).

The doors are combinable with all products within the SYSTEM SÄLZER.

Profile depth | glazing

Frame: 115 mm | glass thickness up to 80mm.


Large doors are tested e.g. single door forced entry resistant in level RC4, frame measurement 1.700 x
3.000 mm. Recommended door size up to 1.250 x 2.500 mm (size depends on the door leaf weight and on the place of installation, bi-metal effect).


Anodised or powder coated, over clad with timber, stainless steel, stone, bronze and other options.

Resistance against windload

Depending on the type up to level C5 (test pressure: 2.000 Pa)

Water tightness

Depending on the type up to level E 750 (test pressure: 750 Pa)

Air permeability

Depending on the type up to level 4 (test pressure: 600 Pa)

Impact resistance

Depending on the type up to level 5 (drop height: 950 mm)

Thermal insulation

Depending on the type of door
UD = 1,7 - 1,9 W/m²K (double glazing)
UD = 1,4 - 1,8 W/m²K (triple glazing).

Life cycle test

Suitable for frequently used entrances and exits. Level 6: 200.000 cycles with 400 kg leaf weight. Level 7: 500.000 cycles with 350 kg leaf weight.

Further technical properties

Locks | FittingAll locks which are approved in the tested security class of the door. Mechanical, electro-mechanical or motorized locks, single or multiple locking. Doors for emergency exits tested according to DIN 179 and DIN 1125 (panic bar) up to RC5. Applicable as interlocking door with special control system possible. All tested and certified fittings can be in-stalled in the respective security level.

Glazing beadsDue to the stable design, no visible screwing of the glazing bead is required and no glueing of the glazing is necessary, this offer a natural glazing rebate ventilation and water circuit.
InstallationInstallation in several building materials and in the facade series S1 is permitted. Bullet resistance: a bullet resistant wall connection is tested and recommended
