The stable yet slimline steel tubular frame construction in the SECUFIRE® series provides elegant protection against multiple threats. Even with the combined protection against a range of different types of threat, high resistance classes can be achieved with a high proportion of glass:
Forced entry and break-out resistance up to RC4 (test on both sides), bullet resistance up to FB4-NS and protection against bomb attacks (500 kg of explosives | distance of 28 m). In addition, fire protection up to T30/EI30 can be ensured depending on the design and the other security requirements.
Four product ranges
SÄLZER offers four product ranges with different profile depths and security features:
- SECUFIRE® S (70 mm basic depth / max. infill thickness 57 mm)
- SECUFIRE® U (83 mm basic depth / max. infill thickness 70 mm)
- SECUFIRE® F (75 mm basic depth / max. infill thickness 62 mm)
- SECUFIRE® P (65 mm basic depth / max. infill thickness 52 mm)
Security according international standards & individual requirements
SECUFIRE® steel tubular frame door
In accordance with DIN EN 1627-1630 up to RC4, glazing in accordance with DIN EN 356 up to P8B.
Tested from both sides in accordance with DIN EN 1627-1630 up to RC4, glazing in accordance to DIN EN 356 up to P8B.
In accordance with DIN EN 1522-1523 up to FB4-NS, glazing in accordance with DIN EN 1063 up to BR4-NS.
Tested in accordance with customer-specific requirements, e.g. with 500 kg of explosives in 28 m. Glazing as per SÄLZER design. GSA 2 ("Very High" protection level), ISO B ("No Hazard" hazard rating).
Depending on the design variant and further protection, fire protection up to T30/EI 30
Depending on the design variant and further protection, smoke protection up to S200.

Profile depth | glazing
Profile depth and glazing/panel thickness depends on the selected model.
Infill option: glazing, panel, grilles and louver.
Large doors are tested e.g. single door, forced entry resistant in level RC4, frame measurement 1.700 x
3.000 mm. Recommended door size up to 1.250 x 2.500 mm (size depends on the door leaf weight and on the place of installation, bi-metal effect).
Primed, painted or powder coated, over clad with timber, stainless steel, stone, bronze and other options.

Further technical properties
|Locks | fittings||General: All locks which are approved in the tested security class of the door. Mechanical, electro-mechanical or motorized locks, single or multiple locking. Doors for emergency exits tested according to DIN 179 and DIN 1125 (panic bar) up to RC4. Applicable as interlocking door with special control system possible. All tested and certified fittings can be in-stalled in the respective security level.|
For the use in prison and forensic hospitals: with special prison locks, simple locking systems up to resistant level RC3 and with multiple locking systems up to level RC4.
Hardware | weight
|Hinges for heavy weights. Options: welded hinges, screwed hinges or concealed mounted hinges . Easy operating despite heavy wing weights. Hinges bear wing weights up to 400 kg.|
|Threshold | floor gasket||Threshold or adjustable floor gasket. Barrier free entrances and exits are possible.|

|Glazing bead||Due to the stable design, no visible screwing of the glazing bead is required and no glueing of the glazing is necessary, this offer a natural glazing rebate ventilation and water circuit.|
|Installation||Installation in several building material is permitted. Bullet resistance: a bullet resistant wall connection is tested and recommended.|
