Donation for the parent initiative
Almost a tradition. This year SÄLZER again donates 5.000,00 Euros to the parent initiative for leukemia and cancer inflicted children. The parent initiative supports affected families caring for the sick children, taking over expenditures for journeys as well as the caretaking of siblings, visits at home and at the hospital, cooperation with the attending doctor and nurses are only some of the helps the initiative offers to parents. The employees of SÄLZER added another 600,00 Euros collected with the Christmas tombola. Award ceremony German Design Award 2018
The German Design Award distinguishes innovative products as well as their manufacturers and designer which are pioneering in the German and international design world. The Sälzer high security steel door Serie S4 convinced a high-profile international jury. Günter Ludwig, responsible for the development and production of the door, explained that the steel door is a flexible modular construction system which can offer the varying protection levels requested by the clients and at the same time fulfilling esthetical requirements.
Successful fair UK Security London
Currently the UK Security is taking place in England. Already on the 1st day of the fair, Elke SAELZER and our British sales representative, Chris Carwardine, reported that the visitors are very interested in our products. We are exhibiting the aluminum window S2, which passed the bullet test in the highest level FB7-NS according to the European standard. We also present our steel window, which even protects against grenades.
Mobile security barrier for christmas market
The mobile security barrier from SAELZER will protect the access roads to the Christmas market in Osnabrück against the unauthorized intrusion of trucks and cars. On the 22.11. the barriers were installed for the duration of the Christmas market. The mobile barrier was tested in the security level K4 and offers protection against an attack with a vehicle up to 6.8t, which drives 50km/h. In emergencies, the barrier can be opened in only 5 seconds for the access of police, fire and rescue vehicles. After closing the Christmas market, the system will be dismantled and stored until the next major event. Residents of Osnabrück complimented the new security concept for the Christmas market in a television report.
