Tested, certified and recommended by the police
Security grilles in the OXIR® series are tested and certified on both sides in accordance with DIN EN 1627-1630 in resistance class RC4 by an independent test institute and in resistance class B by VdS, the German Association of Insurers (Verband der Schadensversicherer).
OXIR® grilles provide reliable protection against break-out attempts from the inside and aided escape attempts from the outside in a number of areas, such as police stations, prisons and forensic clinics.
They are also ideally suited for burglar resistance, for example in industrial plants or data processing centres to safeguard against light and air shafts.
The German Commission for Crime Prevention (KPK) recommends SÄLZER security grilles.
Grilles cannot be dismantled or sawn through
The grille consists of a two-part frame construction made of multi-formed steel sheet and grille bars made from steel profiles with saw-proof special steel inlays. The first part of the frame is anchored to the building structure as a frame trim. The second part of the frame contains the grille bars, the ends of which are welded to the frame construction. The special steel inlays inside have a fixing that secures them against movement.
This second part of the frame is clamped to the first part in a way that means it cannot be released or removed.
